About Us
The Burrell Theatre is Truro’s hidden gem, nestled in the heart of Cornwall. Opened by Sir Tim Rice in 2002 and awarded a special commendation by the Cornwall Buildings Group, the venue has built a reputation for showcasing a vibrant mix of theatre, dance, live music, and film.
At its core is The Burrell’s intimate auditorium, seating 180 or accommodating up to 350 standing. Beyond this, the venue also offers stunning terraces, flexible outdoor event spaces, and the new 798-seat Concert Hall—creating a dynamic setting for performances and events of all scales.
